My first experience with café culture was on Jeju Island, South Korea. Every café felt unique, each with its own distinct theme and atmosphere. Some were relaxed and cozy, filled with couches and soft lighting, while others felt like warm, family-run spaces carefully customized to reflect the owner’s personality. On Jeju, cafés could be anything you imagined. One café especially stood out for its music-driven vibe, with a sunken, pub-like layout where artists and creatives gathered to work and hang out. There are cafes around every corner where people gather with so many unique kinds of cafes.
